GFD Trust

The “Trust Application – New Business” function lets you submit a Trust application into NetSuite for a new client.

Users with Manager Level NetSuite access will be able to generate the four reports as needed for reconciliation purposes and for submission to the regulatory authority in your province.

The Support Ticket function under the GFD Support tab is used to submit any operational requests to be handled by Member Care.

The Open Cases shortcut under the certificate management tab provides access to all support ticket requests submitted by your location, including all statuses.

The Death Claim button on the certificate page is to redeem a certificate for a client who has passed away.

The Partial Refunds button on the certificate page is used to request a withdrawal of funds from a client’s account, whether from principal, interest or combination of both.

The Cancellation button on the certificate page is to fully refund the principal and interest from an active certificate. Once processed, the certificate will no longer remain active.

The Transfer button on the certificate page is to assign the certificate from one funeral home to another.

The ‘Add-ons/Additional Payments’ button on the certificate page lets you submit a payment to any certificate.

The French Certificate button on the certificate page lets you print a French version of the certificate of deposit.

The Trust Certificates shortcut lets you see a list of all certificates for your location(s), whether they are active, claimed or cancelled.

The payout section holds shortcuts to list and view all outgoing transactions, such as claims pending payment, paid out claims, and paid cancellations.

The Deposits section holds shortcuts to lists of all incoming transactions on your certificates, such as PAP/Addon Payments, along with lists of refunds, admin fees, and completed time payments.

The Bulk Download Certificates shortcut under the Reports section allows you to print certificates using a date range related to the activation date; weekly, monthly etc.

The “Insurance Application – New Business” function allows you to submit a new application.

The Payouts tab section holds all outgoing transaction lists. Lists for claims pending payment, paid out cancellations and paid out claims are kept here.

The Deposits Tab is where reports and confirmations of payments are logged for any active accounts. Shortcuts for lists of New Business, active policies, and paid-in-full letters and accounts are kept here.

The reports tab holds a list of new business issued recently, sorted by approved enrollers for the Funeral Home.

By funding a pre-paid contract with an insurance policy, you can name a beneficiary who will receive any excess funds. These policies are guaranteed by Assuris, an insurance industry-supported agency, providing you with additional financial security.

GFD-Foyston Care & Maintenance

The New Contribution function under the Care & Maintenance tab lets you submit a new contribution for your Care & Maintenance.

The Submissions function under the Care & Maintenance tab lets you see a list of all contributions that have already been entered in the system. This list can be filtered by date.

Reports for Care & Maintenance can be found under the Reports section of the Care & Maintenance tab.
Two types of reports are available: Summary Report and Post Year-End Contributions.

Support tickets are to submit any operational requests for Care & Maintenance directly into NetSuite to be looked after by Member Care.
These can be found under the Support Case function under the Care & Maintenance Tab
